Mantle of Spell Resistance (Rare): Alternative to the Cloak of Protection. Not strictly an ideal pick, but it is a classic item and one of my absolute favorites.

Javelin of Lightning (Uncommon): because no matter how many bolts you can fire in a single round, you can't throw a lightning bolt down a hallway full of dumb mobs. Glamoured Studded Leather (Rare): Increase your AC (+1 Studded Leather) while also having a built-in, variable disguise. With the amulet guaranteeing a roll of 10, you can guarantee a single power attack against any creature AC 18 or lower. Taking a -5, that puts you at a +8 to hit. With Archery Fighting style, your +2 hand crossbow, a max Dex, and level 10 (rough assumption/estimation), you have a +13 to hit. At a high enough level, this can be a clutch-use item when paired with GWM or Sharpshooter power attack features. A bit plain and boring, but mechanically very strong and always useful.Ĭlockwork Amulet (Common): a non-attunement item that essentially guarantees a single hit against a creature once per day. All items listed are common through rare, to increase the ease/likelihood of procuring any of them:Ĭloak/Ring of Protection (Uncommon/Rare): strictly better than the Ioun Stone of the same name, since these also boost saving throws.
